  • Person you'd least want to be this week.

I'm talking about that halfwit Cubs fan who probably cost his team last night's game against the Marlins. You know - the idiot who interfered with the foul ball.

Who wants to bet that if the Cubs fail to make the series, that this person will be hunted down by irate fans and subjected to all sorts of abus?.

The odd thing is that I think he deserves it.

I don't suppose Alex Gonzales helped at all. He was ****ing **** when he played for the Jays and he's ****ing **** now.

BTW - there's some splendid pics of the "fan" online. That mother****** might as well throw himself off the Sears Tower.

The Chicago Cubs were up 3-0 in the 8th inning, needing only 5 outs to go to the World Series for the first time in a zillion years. This matters a great deal to Cub fans who think that their team is cursed (the truth is that they're complete ****, and that's why they never win - but that's how myths arise)/

                Anyway....

The Marlins' batter hits a foul ball left and the Cub fielder goes up to the wall to catch it. But some dumb**** **** of a fan decides he'd like the ball as a souvenir and gets in the way of the fielder, who then doesn't make the catch.

Then the Cubs collapse and let in 8 runs in the rest of the inning.

The ******* son of a ***** "fan" is then taken away by security after being pelted with beer and threatened with death.

Now he's the most wanted man in America.

What about the Red-Socs game... eh! Is Zimmerman more at fault there?

so you can see why chicago is angry tonight and today. five outs away, and prior was doing damn good.

on his way to a complete game, a shutout... kept it down to five hits until that point...

The fan really had nothing to do with it. If Alou had caught the ball the Marlin's would have won 7-3 instead of 8-3. What really killed them was Alex Gonzales error, which cost them a double play to end the inning before any runs had scored.

If a fan interfering with a foul ball caused the Cubs to lose, then they deserve to lose.
