I supported Bush because I couldn't stand Gore... The lesser of two evils in my opinion. And while I don't agree with some of Bush's actions (well, many), I still like him better than any of the current Democrats at the moment, so would probably vote for him again. But that doesn't mean I support all of what he has done... just that I don't trust the Bozo the Dems will probably put up If they come up with somebody good....

      Wesley Clark might be good

though he doesn't have much political experience.

But what California proved is you don't need a leader who has political experience

Hmm...I wonder what would happen if I took, say, France in Enlightenment age...Declared war on two small countries, and sent a warning to everyone else.

Anyway, i still do not support Bush. I never have, and probably never will.

You missed the choice of, never liked him, now I hate him. At first I thought he was just your run-of-the-mill corporate whore Repug, but with the stomping on political liberties, the secretiveness, and the war mongering, it's clear he's an exceptionally bad President. He may not be the worst President we've ever had, but he's sure trying to be.

ah. thanks for reminding me, diss.

i could have done without remembering that this administration, as well as all the other ones in recent memory, really care for their progeny.

you know, by running up the bills, having a grand old party, and then sticking us with the goddamned check.

              f*cking politicians.

That sounds about right. Too bad he isn't a warrior king, we could send him to assault Cyprus or something.

Also why is Condoleeza Rice running the whole Iraq show right now? It seems strange that the NSA has so much power. It seems as if Powell and Rumsfeld are being pushed out of the way. In fact rumours are Rumsfeld is set up to take the fall for Iraq. I doubt Rumsfeld will be back next term. And we already know Powell is leaving after this term.

something very strange going on in that administration. I don't like it.

I voted Libertarian as usual. I thought both of the major party candidates were a$smunches, but preferred Bush to what's his name. Bush has been a big dissappointment though, even considering the mediocrity I had been led to believe his administration would be. The one area where they seemed strong has turned out to be their Achilles heel, namely defense and foreign policy. The tax cut was nice, but the insance spending levels that the congress has been maintaining since Clinton's second term are going to mean either a huge long term drain on the economy, or taxes are going to head north again. Neither prospect is appealling.

I still think that Bradley and McCain were the best men for the job.

You're being generous. 1 Administration, 0 Diplomacy, but I would up his military to four or five, since he increased spending.

Is it possible to do an war anti-tax?
