Well as I mentioned the vegetable patch is coming. Now that I've got that compost heap going we can look at putting a vegetable garden in. The boys, to my surprise, are quite interested in growing some veges. Its the right time of year to make a start.

Chooks would be another possibility except for the heightened rodent and snake risk. Having the second most poisonous snake in the world common around the neighbourhood is a bit of constraint.
