What country is south of Mexico? Drop them off there but tell them they are being returned to Mexico. Then they can try and sneak across the border to the North, Hey presto they are back in Mexico and they can live happily ever after.

The really sad fact is 80% of these criminals make it on the first attempt. The government has no control over the borders and that's why drug runners, people smugglers, and various other criminals can break the law without any consequences.

The real solution is to put the Army to use guarding the border and then any employers who are found using illegal labor should be fined out of existence. We need to massively increase the number of agents who do drop in inspections of industries which traditionally use illegal aliens and then the fines need to be so astronomic that businesses are forced into bankruptcy. Right now meat packers, farmers, hotels and the like can keep using illegal aliens because they make so much money and the fines are so small that even if they get caught it’s no big deal.

Let’s see some shareholders lose everything and let’s see some of the repeat border hoppers doing hard labor and we’ll see our illegal alien problem disappear.

The US has been trying to do that since the 1970's but the Mexican government rufuses to allow the planes to land or ships to dock because they want to get ride of their unemployed. You see having large numbers of unemployed military age men standing on street corners causes crime and unrest and the Mexican government would much rather they be our problem then their problem.

If the corrupt politicos in Mexico would clean up their act by ending the endemic graft and get ride of the crap anti foreign invester regulations/ national socialist state owned industries they might actually get their economy growing to the point where they don't have 20%-40% unemployment.

Nope, they normally get dropped off right at the border where they turn around and have another go.

At least with this program it puts these people on unfamiliar ground so it delays and discourages them.

Guatemala is south of Mexico. The Mexican government is really a two faced liar when it comes to illegal immigration. They are constantly telling the US how evil it is for not having an open border where everyone and everything can come and go like the wind (including drugs, guns, prostitutes, criminals, what ever...), but, they put their military on the Mexican-Guatemala border to try to keep the central American illegal aliens out.

It sure is but that's not the point. The point is they've broken the law and they need to be punished. First time offenders should get deported but if they become a repeat offender then I'd put them in a chain gang and let them break rocks for a few years.
