I also like how Mexico is saying 'hey, this isn't fair'

      What a load of ****...

You have to ask yourself; why Texas? Cause them rangers know how to keep them out... we should all learn from their example.
You know what -- I actually agree with this new policy.

The illegal immigrants don't like the consequences of being caught doing something illegal, so they complain.

Well, if they can't accept those consequences, then they should stop sneaking over the border.

If they're stupid and useless, sure. We'll label them "reactionaries" and "national socialists", along with Texans and other worthless people.

You do know that we paid for California.

Also, the Texans revolted because of states-rights issues. You seem to be a great champion of states rights, so don't be hypocritcal when it comes to Texas.

                          • MtG, You make good points about "green cards." You give the Mexicans green cards, they take better-paying jobs.

Now, who would be against that? Corporations or the Unions?

As for you, you're seriously misinformed; at least insofar as the Republic of Texas is concerned.

                              • Looking back, it would have been better for everyone had we annexed Mexico in 1848. I assume we did not at the time because Mexico was both Catholic and Spanish speaking. Also, did we fear intervention from Europe? Anyone know more about are reasons at the time?
