The Bay Area is way too expensive to live. Thinking of applying for a job in PA, anyone have an opinion on this area?

Naw, the actual move would cost about $2-3,000... Right now that's a month rent for me, and I would probably be making the same there as here.

I know of a couple of hazardous waste sites there. I have no particular impression of the place itself.

So that's why they recently voted down a tax initiative.

philly's a big exciting place, with the usual mix of urban advantages and problems. Dont know anything about Malvern.

There are hazardous waste sites all over the country, of course. But when you asked about Malvern, instead of having the usual reaction ("huh, never heard of it"), I thought "oh, yeah, I think I've got a couple of claims down there").

                              I goggled it.

It's outside Philly, near Hershey... Hey! I could hang with my main man Speers

Saw a lot of companies there that handle hazardous waste...
