If your tastes run to short, fat, and hairy, I suppose so.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

baesides that fact, ive already explained to you my favorite commie that you are in contact with greeks from small villages etc. those are the people that migrate to elsewhere cause there are nojobs in their places of origin.
these people have very traditional ethics. however judging all based on them is not a good judge.
another factor is that greekamericans tend to be VERY pro free markets. maybe theysaw that t-shirt of yours and got off put

On the other hand, if the club has a particular agenda, such as increasing the awareness of black issues, then fair enough. But then it shouldn't be restricted to black people - white people (or whomever) are perfectly capable of increasing awareness to black issues too. But they shouldn't be allowed to have fun.

So if the 'Caucasian club' has a purpose, such as campaigning against positive discrimination, then it is fair enough. If it is just somewhere to hang out and 'be white', no.
I agree with in that minority clubs should never exclude whites.

But I disagree with your "positive discrimination" concept.

It's true. I wish I had more body hair. Then I'd look like my Italian forefathers, instead of this hairless American Indian body I have.

In my school, Everyone who wanted to participate was welcome in every ethnicity/culture/religious/gay&lesbian/etc club. Maybe my school was just lucky.

Anyway, so long as the club isn't used to promote racism (or condone those who do, like whoever did the noose, etc) I think it's fine.

besides the tendency of "blonder" people to bemore hairy than darker people, i dont see why you brag about your hairless indian body.
i can see why, badly, they refused their daughter though. its one thing not being a bear its another not being a slug

I think some of you are overreacting. We're not talking about a bunch of middle-aged pea-brained reactionaries forming a white supremacy club here. We're talking about a group of adolescents trying to fit in at high school.

Those of you who have spoken out against this 'Caucasian Club' are forgetting what it was like to be age 14 or 15 and have the need to be attached with a certain group with whom you feel you share a lot in common. It is through such groups that these kids, particularly Freshmen, can feel less overwhelmed by the high school experience.

What if this high school's enrollment was 80% African-American? Would you still object to a Caucasian Club?

Having said that, within our high schools I don't think there should be a Caucasian Club. Or a Black Studies Club. Or Hispanic Club. Rather there should be one club which celebrates American culture and fosters understanding between all races. An "anti-racism " club. Leave the race-specific clubs to individual communities.

i didnt speak against it. it just strieks me as so funny that theres so much issues about racism in the us.
and manchester where park avenue or stewie lives. 40% of them are immigrants and they beat down on english because of their "racism"

                          just funny that's all

I like being politically incorrect but in such a cryptic and gentle manner so that I don't get spanked. Help me here, Boris.

I mean I know that "...you'll never go back" would be over the top. But I want to say something cute without really getting people mad.

There's nothing wrong with cultural clubs (how else am I supposed to get dinner? ) or religious clubs, but "race"-specific clubs seem pretty damn idiotic to me.
