I'm not surprised there haven't been more arguments.

Whenever it comes it, the owners usually say no, and that's the end of it. Remember... this isn't a Democracy

Doesn't Ulster already have a flag? I think its like the English flag, only with a diagonal cross. Terra for Terrans, Ireland for the Irish.

Nah, the diagonal bit on the Union Flag is from the defunct Irish flag. It's no longer used. I'm not really sure if Northern Ireland is a nation, though, since everything, from politics to the sides of houses is riddled with sectarianism.

well, the offical name is 'The united Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Irleand'

Though i think the 'and N. Irlenad' is there for 'political' reasons.

Personally, I'd be in favour of giving it back to the republic, but then the pro-birt protties will be upset, and I dunno if it'd be right to for people to live under an excesiveley catholic govt.

Only solution is to unify Ireland, bring the republic into the Act of Union with britain as an autonomous region, and every one should be happy....
