    They might as well have. We've seen Land Forces in the DS9verse in action before. They lacked Armor, artillary, heavy small arms, damn near everything.

                      I refuse to watch this series; it is an abomination.

                      I just read an article from MSNBC about Star Trek and the trouble it's in.


                      Berman needs to go. I'd much rather have TOS reruns in place of Enterprise.



                      BTW, I now own Star Trek I-IV on DVD, Director's/Special Collector's Edition. Got em on ebay for about 12 bucks a piece.

                        I recall one episode in TOS which started with Kirk and Spock on the surface of a planet attempting to deal with a little Klingon matter. They had a "subatomic mortar" with them. They fired one round, finishing up the job, then went home.
