  • What movie is Boshko thinking of?

Its a fairly oldish one, in which the English were the bad guys as usual (the good guys were Scotts maybe, forget) with a good bit of castle sieging and was definately NOT Braveheart. I remember liking it when I was a kid and I thought I'd try to dig it up.
Any other movies with nice big bloodly battle scenes would also be useful...

    thanks!

    Rob Roy?
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Either Pretty Woman or Working Girl. Can you give us more details?

I didn't see it, but I heard Luc Besson's Joan of Arc (with Milla Jovovitch and John Malkovich) has epic and well done battle scenes. My mother felt awkward when she watched it, with such realistic blood and rape scenes (this is not porn). War is ugly.

If Liam Neeson was in it then it definitely was Rob Roy (1995).

Rob Roy was the movie that made me hate/love Tim Roth.

Yup that Joan of Arc movie rocked, it was the handbook to medieval seige warfare... Tim Roth is awesome

Other movies with awesome bloody scenes?:

The Patriot... ever see a guy get his head taken off by a canon?

                  Braveheart... of course.

Starship Troopers... that's all it is.

Glory... the final battle is really nasty.

                  Monkey!!!
