A few days ago SnowFire sent me a PM talking about how lots of the people who played dip in the old days are still around, but Apolyton Dip is pretty much dead.
He's got his hands full with D&D PBEM and suchlike so I thought I'd run a game for old-time's sake and try to set up a nice informal game for poly oldtimers (although other are welcome of course).
If you don't know how to play dip or need a refresher, here's SnowFire's top-notch tutorial:
I was thinking of playing either the standard map or the 1600 map if enough people want to play: http://w1.132.telia.com/~u13214882/1600.htm
Will probably do standard rules, but I do love the It Came From Outer Space and Royale rule variants silly (although they wouldn't be appropriate for newbies):
Post what you'd like to play and get your email address to me somehow (I'm dboshko@wesleyan.edu for the time being). I can't start the game until next sunday because I've got a lot of next week off and I'm going hiking.
