so it looks like i'm getting the meal plan thing free, paying all my bills, and having a 2828 surplus in my account?

damn... maybe i should see if i can get rid of some of those loans?

Don't know. That's why you should check with your F. Aid Officer.

Re: your meal plan, keep in mind that they may not serve food every day (they don't serve food on Sunday down here at UT), and you're gonna get really sick of the food really fast - that is, you're gonna want to go out a lot, so you might keep the surplus money for extra food.

Also, did you buy your books yet?

Maybe the $2,828 extra is because they expect you to live in a dorm room. If this is the case, you might as well move to a dorm room.

Talking with a financial aid officer seems to be in order. You don't want to leave any money on the table that will make your life easier. It's a capital crime for a student to do so.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

It means you're being repressed by bourgeois suburban liberals in mansions.

It actually means you're keeping the black man down by using white suburban liberal programs to subsidize your education.
