            I looked at the train and actually it's not too bad, but I couldn't make an evening meet-up unless i) there's a room on offer somewhere and ii) I have no Monday morning lectures.

                        Oxford looks good, although I could make Birmingham if needs be. However Oxford is, IMHO, a far nicer place to go out, and it's where DF will be already.
