  • Did Anyone Mention Civ At The London Meeting?

I just thought..I didn't hear a reference to it once. Though I remember hearing Ming's name a couple of times.

Us CtP guys (Peter Triggs, Immortal Wombat and me) discussed our game a bit, and we briefly mentioned RoN too. Other than that, I don't think Civ or related games got mentioned too much.

Apolyton got plenty of attention though...

Didn't we see a café named "Ming" when we were looking for a pool table?

If it was mentioned in the Atlanta meeting, it was in the past tense. I told them of my tedious strategy of having a HUGE civilization bristling with nuclear weapons and tanks suddenly going Civil War in Civ1, just to give me a decent opponent in the modern era.

Who went looking for the pool table now? That bit is a bit hazy. I think me and Makeo both just needed a bit of fresh air at that point...

Not like we'd find it anywhere in London though.

Yeah we stumbled around the block a couple of times.

I think civ was mentioned briefly Andy saying something about it took to long to play mp.

Yeah you just have to look for it (apparently).

There's a search function at the top of this page, try that first?

Zopper and I chased after you as well after you tried to sneak out.

We should have had the meeting in Reading, I know loads of pool tables there.
