        Absolutely, beating the crap out of a gay (bashing) and denying gays equal rights (gay marriage) are in fact two different things. The latter is a bigot, the former a violent bigot.

          Of course the conservatives are cool . Watch Bill Maher's show... most of the Republicans and funny and cool (except psycho-***** Coulter ) and most of the Democrats are stuffy suited types.

                This is just the "conservatives are all idots" debate only dressed differently Political alliegence has zip to do with coolness. Of course, coolness is a dime a dozen, here today gone tommorrow quality, so being cool today only mean you won;t be cool tommorrow.

                As for "being in touch", most people are apolitical, so neither liberas nor conservatives (ie. anyone who is openyl political) is in touch with anyone in the majority. o give it a rest, we are all geeks here.
