The Problem is that the Photoreceptors within the Retina are among the Fist Cels in the Body to die of, if the are cut off from their Supply of Nutritients.
Not enough time to cut them from the Donor Corpse (as soon as Death is declared), transport them to the Recipient and ten transplant them into his Body.
