  • I want to be gay

You know, I was watching the tonight show with Jay Leno and they had those gay guys on who are on that NBC show. And they really did have better fashion sense.

I have no sense of fashion whatsoever. I have no idea how to dress myself. I just wear a t-shirt and shorts, or t-shirt and jeans most of the time.

Now I can't really be gay, since I'm not attracted to men. But I would like to have a sense of style like a gay man.

Why do gay men have more fashion sense than straight men. Sure I'm over generalizing here. But I have yet to see a gay man dress as badly as I do. So am I really overly generalizing? Are there gay men who dress badly?

give me some fashion tips please.

I'm gay and have **** fashion sense. I wear hoodies and jeans mostly, and even caps which are apparently fashion suicide.

      Never wear stripes with plaid.

This being the extent of my fashion knowledge. I use it daily, though, as I never wear stripes or plaid.

I never wear stripes or plaid either

In fact I tend to wear too much plain colors. They say that shows a lot about your character. I guess I'm a plain color person .

My shirts rarely have more than 2 colors (unless it's a t-shirt with a graphic). You won't find me going around wearing hawain shirts. Though I've thought about it. I'm not sure I have the guts to go around wearing hawaain shirts. They aren't really popular wear I'm from.

after some very frustrated expierences with women, i've often wished i could find men attractive, but i honestly cant.

one night me and some guys were all just talking about this kinda stuff (one of the guys just lost his girlfriend and was all depressed) and he brought up the point that he never understood why he was doing it, why he was dealing with the annoyances of coping with someone with completely different tastes, ideas, etc, etc. then another came back and gave reasons blah blah blah, you should find someone you click with, someone like you, blah blah blah, but who's to say it has to be a girl?

as much as a hobophobe as i am, i have honestly considered the gay orientation, but it honestly doesnt work for me. i do not find the male body attractive in any way shape or form, it does nothing for me.

it was kind of releiving to actually think it over rationally though. this was a good summer for personal insight

I'm not gay and I think I have some fashion sense.
I don't think I have to become gay to acquire fashion sense. I have a gay guy in one of the big stores here and he dresses me.
Really he gives me great advices. I don't always listen to him because some times I would just not feel comfortable in some of his more daring suggestions, but for the most part he gives GREAT style advices. (I hate the word "fashion"). He's da man, you know what I mean. Unfortunately I've only been there twice and he has left his job. So I'm back to my own devices.

Get a woman to dress you. You will feel guilty when you dump her and use your new threads to get future conquests though. At least if you are a softie like me...

You're not seriously suggesting go shopping with a WOMAN do you? I'd rather kill myslef.
10 minutes in every vitrina, NO thank you very much! I go nuts.
Just buy it and and let's go to the movies or something.
I always go shopping alone. In and out.

Totally serious. They are the best for that kind of stuff. Actually my (very pretty) little sister is a machine. She will take me out, knows the stores, knows what looks good on me, puts me in a dressing room and starts throwing stuff over the transom.

Girl friends are good too. Not as machine-like in the fashion assistance. But you can smooch in the dressing room.

(Don't go shopping for their stuff, though. They can take sisters or girlfriends for that. But for buying stuff for your house or for clothing for yourself, girls are great. Just open the wallet and go...)

Better a ****** than an *******. Might want to look into being queer yourself, could improve your disposition.

Diss: The fashion thing is learned as part of a cultural thing. Gays in Wyoming dress and act like other Wyoming folks. Gays in Texas are pretty much standard Texans. Gays in urban cultural centers, like NY or SF, are the ones who have the "fashion sense," but so do a lot of straight people here.

Last time I went with a girlfriend she had me changing a bazzilion clothes just to admire me. Not that I didn't fancy but can't be done on a regular basis. Plus I'm a bit unconventional when it come sto clothes. If someone else buys it for me 99% of the time I won't like it.
