Sometimes a person doesn't realize who they are -- especially if they have serious problems (denial or blinded about something about one's self).

And since you caused me to explain my joke, it's ruined now.

Don't worry about it, it was already ruined .

I wish my dad was more like DanQ, and my mom more like MarkG.

I didnt see this choice which would apply to me.....Pushed me harder in school.......I have the ability to Daydream endlessly & still make pretty good grades mostly A'sB's a few C's & the occasional D.........I am easily distracted........
Although, I did manage to receive my A&P Liscense w/ a 3.6 avg. w/ frequent daydreaming while I was in school.

I think my parents decision to become parents was a little misguided.

More involved/over 25. I assume that this is the closest to "put the boot harder to my ass".

That it is. Though "better prepared for adult life" could apply as well.

I was a pretty rebellious type about schoolwork and chores and stuff. I think they should have pushed harder here. Also gotten me more into sports and Scouting and stuff. But they did do a decent job at getting me into top notch schools. Even moving accross town. and they schooled me into acing the SATs.

My mother should have prepared me better for adult life. Whenever things started getting good (every two years (I take a long time to make friends)) we moved. This caused me to lose hope and soured my ambition. I now have good ideas that never get finished, or even started.

                              I'd change nothing.

All the ways I'm ****ing up my life are entirely of my own doing.

My parents are extremely good, and I voted perfect (under 25). However, one thing my mom could have done better was to scare me less of everyday's dangers.
I have now become afraid of many small things (cars in particular) because of the extreme caution advised by my mother in my youth.
                                Otherwise, perfect !
