Obviously he does. At least on the promotion side of things. Boris didn't even know Franken had a new book coming out.

And one persons ignorence tells you what? I did not know Ann Coulter had a book out for a long time...doesn;t mean that cause I did not know, or somoene did not know it would not be selling. (do you know which is the biggest fiction best seeler now, of your head, or which big author is about to come out with something?)

All of Franken's previous books have made the top 10, why this would be different, given the state of the times, I fail to understand. BUt FOX's idiocy will help sales, if only from curiosity seekers.

From a trademark law point of view, I think FOX will win easily. I wonder what Franken is smoking if he continues this litigation.
Why do you think Fox can win this? Al Franken has two things going for him:

          1) His book is a work of political satire, and is therefore explicitly is granted protection against trademark/copyright infringment.

          2) "Fair and Balanced" is a common English phrase. Maybe Fox can prevent another company from using it as a logo, but they cannot expect to stop ANY use of the phrase.

Fox news is wasting taxpayer money with a frivelous lawsuit, and if it wins it'll encourage a large rash of lawsuits from other parties offended by works of political satire.

I did. It was all over the godfrickingdamned media, too. Any nut can write a ****ing neocon book and become some kind of a celebrity. Augh.

(It's REALLY funny, though, when neocons whine about liberals being in charge of the media...after they hear it from Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter... )

i tried reading coulter's latest book. i really did.

i just couldn't bring myself to read past the first chapter because my head hurt so much.

i'm expecting the same from this franken book.

i don't need one of these nuts to tell me that the other side lies. it's obvious that everybody spins everything, and anybody who can't see that is blinded by their own idiotic ideology.

Since Fox started this lawsuit, Franken's book jumped to number 1 on Amazon.

I'll buy it. I bought the Rush book, and it was funny.

If it hadn't been for FOX filing its lawsuit against Al Franken, I probably would never have heard of, let alone buy, Franken's book. Now I'm tempted to, just to see why FOX is frothing at the mouth.
