  • Unpredictable effects of immigration.

So there was thiscouple and they had a baby son. When the child started speaking, he spoke, as the parents said, gibberish. He spoke perfectly, ceaselessly and at a very young age. He actually didn't stop speaking. But noone understood what he was saying!

Alarmed the parents took their offspring to a specialist to see what was wrong with their son.
The specialist said that everything was great, the child is very intelligent since he started speaking at such a young age and using so many different phrases and expressions.

    He just spoke in... Albanian!!!

Allegendly the nanny was an albanian woman who kept speaking to the baby but in her native tongue. So the little devil naturally picked up and learned the language he was being spoken to. Goes without saying thatthe parents much have been elsewhere occupied to keep company to their kid, like at all.

      Hilarious

And a great lesson to the parents. The kid will only profit from this, in so many ways

i think the kid is quite lucky myself, though it says alot for the parents if he spent so much time with the nanny and not with them he never learnt his parents language...

Well, the kid will probably learn both languages eventually, and be the better for it. It reflects badly on the parents that their child's mother tongue is actually more of a nanny tongue.

                stupid parents

I'm going to teach my kids Klingon and then laugh at them when they get teased at school for a) being geeks and b) being in ESL

Naw, better, I won't teach them how to speak at all!
