  • Asher! You computer geek canuck! I shall command you to do my bidding a la Tassadar!

Auxiliary poly computer geeks also are acceptable.

I'm trying to run a game on my current system (windows ME) that I used to play on windows 3.1. It refuses because I don't have wavmix16.dll. I'm guessing that dll was in earlier versions of windows, but no longer exists. Is there any way of getting the game to work, or am I screwed?

      DOS doesn't work either?

I've downloaded the DLL file. Apparently a lot of people trying to play this game have the same problem. (I searched for wavmix16.dll on google and it only turned up results relating to the game. A person posted my problem on a forum dedicated to the game, and someone gave him a dl link for the file.

          Where should I put it?

Seconded. Had that OS, a crash a day. Upgraded to XP, no problems.

My OS doesn't crash, it only goes down when I tell it to.
