  • Kevin Costner was allowed to make another movie- Open Range

who keeps giving this guy jobs

But actually in this case- the movie looks pretty good. I'm in the mood for a western. Of course I'm in the mood now, and I have to wait another week before it comes out.

I predict this film to do moderately well. It may be too slow for most people, so I don't expect it to be a big hit with the younger audience. But I don't expect it to bomb like the Postman and Waterworld.

If I hear it is good, I might see it in the theater. I like good westerns. He may be able to handle it if someone else wrote a good script and cast him as a background character or something.

He just seems like a tool...

Costner hasn't made a decent movie since Tin Cup.
"Paul Hanson, you should give Gibraltar back to the Spanish" - Paiktis, dramatically over-estimating my influence in diplomatic circles.

Costner has been in a hell of a lot of good movies.
Yes, I'm going to see "Open Range".

why is it that in the commercial, they show a white-hooded man kkk-style and the word "Justice" appears?

Go see the movie and find out.

Kevin Costner sucks in just about everything I have seen of him. He is just too much of a bore, that why he does not act well.

It's already doomed to be a bad Western if Costner's in it.

Don't you remember those record flops:

Robin Hood: I Can't Speak With an English Accent Waterweenie
                  The Postalman
                  Dances in Wolf's Clothing

                    I saw Field of Dreams,

                    Dances with Wolves,

                    and

                    Tin Cup.

I really liked all three of those movies.

I love Costner... so I'll probably see this sometime or another . Maybe I'll wait until it comes out on HBO or something. It's getting harder to justify spending $8 for one movie in the theater, when I pay for my movie channels .

The only taste you people have, most of you so far have, is in your mouth.

Doubtful you'd know a good movie if it bit you on the ass.

I actually enjoyed Waterworld. I mean, it wasn't supposed to be a super-epic thing, just a fun actiony movie.

I didn't like Waterworld. I've only seen parts of the Postman, but I wasn't interested.

He didn't direct that one though, the only one's he directed were Open Range, Waterworld, Postman, and Dances with Wolves. The others he just acted in.

Wyatt Earp was too long, Tombstone was much better.

I liked Tin cup, but it also had Cheech in it- that's why I liked it. Renee Russo and that miami vice guy also provided good supporting roles.

Dances with Wolves was pretty good.

                              never seen the bodyguard.

Untouchables and Bull Durham were good movies. But he had a much smaller role, they were more ensemble casts.
