  • A couple of posts a day is still really good. I figured that even if we could get one post a day from each player we could keep the story moving. Would it be possible for all of us to coordinate a time to be online once a week? If we could all be online and active for an hour or two it would greatly enhance the continuity of the story. Of course, we'd have to negotiate around extracurriculars, new and current jobs, etc... Any takers?

    • I could do it

      • I hate to start negotiations with only one taker but it'd be nice to shoot for weekend nights or early evening weekdays. I have to be at work at 6:30 in the morning. I could be persuaded to get up earlier and get online before I go in.

        • Weekend nights sounds good to me -- I'll either be working weekend overtime (third shift), or I'll be at home relaxing.

No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

          • Bandar notices Morganna and whispers, "I want his spell book if we take him out..."

            • [OOC]
Weeknight evenings are spotty right now. Sometimes I'm available after 8:00pm EDT onwards, other times not until 10:00pm EDT. My morning routine during the week is far too hectic to squeeze in a visit. The weekends are getting better though. A weekend pre-arranged timeslot that isn't too big should be manageable.

Rags whispers, "A bar brawl might make good cover for us to get through that back door, if the hired thugs join the fracas."

                  • You could always take over the character (or have one of us do it).

                    • I could

I don't actually like having characters when I am GMing (And have purposely kept Tarna silent because of this), but I could jsut change him to a usualy NPC..

                      • [ooc]Morganna's a spellcaster, right? I say we send the bard back to the inn and if he shows up again he can try to find us.[/ooc]

Bandar grins at Rags and Morganna. "Starting fights is my specialty. Shall I?" Bandar reaches back for his axe and starts looking for a patsy.

                        • Tarna looks questioning. "Taverns are usually busier later, maybe we could sneak back when everyone has their attention on something else? Maybe something that we could start but not be part of?" She looks at Rags.

(Rags is our current only spell caster, Morganna and I will be in the future)

                          • Bandar looks incredibly disappointed. Several people shy away from the dwarf with looks of disgust. "Well, if I haveta, I will." His hand returns to his side.

                            • I understand your thinking, but with the number of active eyes in here, there's a chance someone could spot either the spell or me casting it.

Besides, Bandar here hasn't smacked anyone around for days! I think a warmup prior to any real problems we might encounter later tonight might be just what the doctor ordered. What say you, Bandar? Do you think you could keep it clean enough to start a ruckus (subdual damage), and slink away within a minute to join us?

Just double-checking - we're headed for the (presently guarded) back door, right?

I'm thinking we want Bandar to start something with one of the patrons, to draw the guards into breaking up a brawl.

It can be wise to use non-magical solutions where possible, saving magical ones for when there is not other way.
