Getting on for 50C? I doubt it. You are factoring in humidity into your temperature. We don't do that.

      Thanks, good night.

We are not wusses enough to do something like factor in humidity. We do have a heat index, which factors in humidity (lack of) wind etc., in an attempt to simulate how one feels, but he's not referring to it.

In the South and Southwest, it is VERY common for temperatures to break past 110F, and likely that at least in one week of the summer they will be above 100 (for the South) or 110 (Southwest) all week.

We know our friggin' temperature, damnit.

(IIRC, a few years ago some place in Arkansas or Texas went on some marathon streak of over 100F temperatures. Something like for weeks. I'm pretty sure Dallas was it, but I can't be sure )

Wow twice in a week! I must be going conservative, I've been agreeing with Bods so much!

Ideal weather for me would be 16 degrees C, sunny and windy. In short, autumn!

It's more like 125. I think that thermometer must be in the sun because 125 is just plain ridiculous. The hottest I have ever heard of it being in Phoenix is only 123 (I think in '92 or '93).

I've spent over an hour outside in -40 weather before.
Damn. When I was in Connecticut last Thanksgiving the high was 15 for the day. I was NOT happy. I couldn't stay outside for more than 10 minutes before I felt like my hands would fall off.

We know our friggin' temperature, damnit.
Thank you, good to know someone understands... but just in case I posted that screen anyway . After living here nearly all my life I ought to know how hot it gets.

              Alrite Bods!
I must say the 80+ Weather Sucks , it's too hot, i sweat too much when cycling and cant see for the sun.

However, i absolutly hate Rain, With a Passion.

I'd like every day to be Mid 60's, Slightly Cloudy,With Average Winds. I'm Difficult to please.

                        The air-conditioning will be nice.

Can we sit in the smoking bit?

Yeah, odds are being slashed that next week is going to get the highest recorded temperature in the UK (37C I think). I spent yesterday on the water at some tinpot regatta and as a result am now burnt to a light crisp

Hottest I have ever had was 125F, but that was Death Valley around this time of year, so it is to be expected. Turn off your airconditioning they say to avoid overheating the car...
