    damn all those nice goodies....as matterfact i am going to put a new computer together tomorrow just dont know what kind yet...i have around 1100 Euro...any one ideas?

    what I have now
    pentium III 600 Mhz
    geforce II 100/200
    320 MB ram
    40 GB hard disk
    dolby digital 5.something surround sound

          It's a good card, I'm not sure if it's the best value out there for video cards right now though. Don't pay attention much to the mid-range ones.

                            The Pentium 4 is already the longest-surviving brand-name Intel has ever had, Prescott is most likely going to be branded the Pentium 5
                            Lives and learns I guess. I'll stick with my current machine until end of 2004, when I'll get a laptop (thats when I'm moving out so excuse to spend more money on things I dont need).

                              Really would like to keep this one for a while (at least until all the new stuff such as SATA, PCI express..., etc has had a chance to develop). So I guess my next machine is going to be completely new.
