No Kid, and again I would ask you not to put words in my mouth.

I have never said you were a loser, but I WILL say this again (you'll have it memorized after a while!). If you want to get ahead economically, repeat after me:

    1) spend less than you earn
    and
    2) buy something that increases in value over time

Tough to remember, I know, but I have confidence that you'll get it!

The list of published books grows. If you're curious to see what sort of stories I weave out, head to Amazon.com and do an author search for "Christopher Hartpence." Help support Candle'Bre, a game created by gamers FOR gamers. All proceeds from my published works go directly to the project.

And if I don't save money, and I don't, doesn't that make me a loser according to you?
I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

Man, if those western power companies weren't so greedy as to fake the whole California power crisis to rake in the millions, our economy might not be quite as bad as it is.

I really don't think that is the case. Not that they weren't greedy but that it damaged the economy. I think it was minimal at best.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)
