50 Cent was around in 1995... it takes years before rappers become big... DMX for example was on NYC mixtapes in 88 but didnt get big until exactly ten years later... like everything else, david, things are popular in the cities for years before they are known in mainstream america.

Hey, I've lived in a city my whole life!

Granted, they were all suburb cities, except for an atrocious year actually INSIDE of Austin, but still

And sonnets traditionally are rhyning, usually with a difficult scheme.

Not to mention that 90% of the sonnets you read will be either Italian or Shakespearian form...

              yo.
my great gandma was from ghana,
              she didn't have a dallah
sittin in a mud hut, puffin marijuana
white man come up an' robbed her
              didn't take her sh*t
              took her, she didn't wanna.

she got off tha boat, they said welcome to the states
she got kicked in the head by one of the mates
lined up with her brothers n sistahs, in front of the gate
cryin' for her family, cryin' while she waits
whiteys all aroun' her, while they debate
"i'll buy that ****** b*tch" one man dictates.

              aaaaand
back in the house, made into a slave
fought for her freedom, whipped to behave
treated like an animal, she was depraved
beaten every night, she was brave
alone in tha world, she couldn't be saved.

the day is over, the white man grins
no one here is punished for their sins
whipped almost nightly, scars on they skins
faith runs out, it now begins
f*ck it, the white man wins.

brought here in a boat, a long time away
              our people robbed, led astray
we dealt with it all, come what may
              niggas getting lynched, f*cking kkk,
forced for years to simply obey
we don't belong in tha usa.

blacks to africa! back to africa! blacks to africa! back to africa!
              ... yo.

                            • This is for my fallen friend. RIP my friend, you left us to soon, but you live in our memories forever.

I remember you until the end of days
together life was crazy but every moment we had I praise
I don't know what the **** you thought and what you fought
when you decided it was enough, life too tough, when reality caught
I wake up in the morning and ask myself who messed your head to desperate, I guess I just have to think and wait
until we meet again and drink champagne, catch up and laugh and forget the pain
I guess that's just the way it is, life is like a quiz you never know what's coming
One day you're there and next you're gone, and the angels in the heaven are drumming
waiting for you to come, and represent where you from
the only ease is that you'll have peace, just a little piece, your soul released

Rest in peace my friend, for we send you away
it was your dream to trascend, my friend, but I can't still comprehend
Too many questions left unasked, truth left unmasked

But I guess that's just the way it is, we still have unfinished biz, I never knew
what this would come in to, no clue, I guess it's not about me but you
Some things will never change, it's strange that we can never again exchange what we had
but I'm glad that we had, the good and the bad

Too early too soon, too much rain and pain
and one afternoon, you get the train and do the insane
Now I see you six feet under and I wonder what's up with you
and how you do, and if the rumours are untrue

I try to figure out who to blame, life ain't a game, and I'm looking for a name
who it was that put you to the edge, forever loyalty we pledge
I haven't forgot, and I got my body full of hatred
and I kid you not, I heard what was said
I ain't violent but I'm already, looking for your demons and planning to take them out I'm ready

Your mom is strong you don't have to worry
and we remain strong to the pledge we don't hurry
as we make sure, that we're secure and there ain't no cure for what the guilty ones have to endure
We know what the ****er did to you, revenge overdue,
he's getting something new, from the you know who

After we're done, the heeling has begun and we regret none
of what we did, took out that kid, did the forbid
He had it coming all along, there's not gonna be a song
of him, we're strong, and when I hear the gong I payback the wrong
that you had the go through, me and my crew
together we grew, we never forget the love we knew

Hey, if you are interested and want to do a real lyrics about it, I can talk to you and tell you the real story that is a ****ing tragedy. That is, if you're out of ideas of lyrics and want to do it, because that would be really nice and I'd appreciate it a lot.
