If you donated to a sperm bank, would you want to hear from your child 20 years later

I think it was dateline or one of those crappy news magazine shows that showed some reunions of a sperm bank child with their biological father. I thought that was kind of cool. I respect the guy for meeting his daughter. It's not like it costs him anything finacially- he doesn't have to pay child support or anything. But in most cases it's near impossible for them to track the father down. And when the sperm bank does, they have to get permission to hook them up.

By default, no, but then if I change my mind later, it might be nice for me to have that option. Possibly the same right to the kid, but only if I concur too.

It's sad, I really want a kid, but can't find a woman who will even marry me, much less have my child.

I was thinking about sperm banks. Plus they give you money too! That's a win-win situation.

But I'd be afraid they would laugh at me and tell me they don't want sperm of people like me.

and how do they genetically screen? That's what I'm worried about. I'm not very tall for a white person. That might not be desirable.

My older sister is shorter than me. Whenever I said something about being taller my father would suggest that six inches be removed from my shins and placed in hers. But that might not be a good solution for your height problem.
