Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Starbucks tastes better, and have many different flavors and varieties
Starbucks is better then McDs but it still is subpar coffee. There are tons of better place which cost alot less and use fair trade beans to boot.
As for pork bing cheap I imagine it is because you can stick a whole lot more pigs in a given area then cows. The pigs will also grow faster, eat just about anything given to them, and can be slaughtered sooner.

why you saying my job is crap?
I think he was saying he didn't like there food not that he thought your job was crap. I eat ad McD's once in a while but most of the time I stay way. I have to admite though in college the calores per buck factor kept me coming to fast food places.
Fast food joints also give alot of people their first experience in the employed world so I think they fill a useful role. My first job (other then a paper route) was when I was 15.5 and I worked as a dish washer in a fast food like restaurant (it was more of a fast casual place but you get the idea). It wasn't glamourous but it provided a pay check, was flexable with schedules, and gave me job experience. That experience helps kids build resumes and helps them get into the real world of employment.
my whole life, i've lived off the stuff as i'm sure most people in the city do... remember those deals where on mondays or whatever hamburgers would be 29 cents? my mom would have me go and buy 20+ hamburgers and we'd keep the in the freezer and only eat them... gave us lunch and/or dinner for the whole week for only a few dollars... great ****.
normally though, it's cheaper to buy a King size white bread for 99 cents, some bologna for 99 cents and have a week's worth of sandwiches for 1.98
thanks

$0.29 is a good deal so if money was tight then I wouldn't stick my nose up at four burgers for $1.16. The truth is though if you are on a super tight budget then buying a rice cooker and cooking at home all the time would be the absolute cheapest way to go. Especially if you make alot of soups or things like pot roasts.
you guys do realize what would happen if fast food places had pork right?
muslim groups and such would protest saying they can't work there because they have to handle pork.
I was never a big fan of pork anyways. the navy served that crap too many times I don't even like pork chops that much. But I do like sausauge and pepperoni (don't like bacon very much)
Pork isn't my favorite. Once in a while I'll eat bacon - but only if it's VERY lean, and I prefer turkey bacon. Pork chops, eh, I can live without 'em. Sausage is OK, just depends. Pepperoni is about the only pork I eat consistently.
