No it wasn't like that at all. I wanted to keep her around as a friend to be friends, because we were best friends before, and she was pretty cool then. But now, more and more, I'm thinking I'd rather just keep her as a friend to do these things for me... because she's progressively been a ***** this summer.

I have a friend who LITERALLY has been friend with this girl he broke up with for 10 FREAKIING YEARS. NEITHER ONE OF THEM has had a girlfriend or boyfriend since then because they have never really moved on.

Ever had a ****ty day? My guess is she's just unloading on you at the moment. Ain't no thang, unless it gets under your skin because some element of it is close to home.

Don't attach that much importance to it. Going from being together, to being friends after the breakup, ain't a smooth process.

True that, but I was just trying to help. I've been trying all summer, with varied success. Sometimes it's been really good and sometimes very bad. Even if she had a ****ty day, I don't think it was very fair to unload on me when she really didn't want to be alone, she just didn't want to talk to me (otherwise why come on Instant Messenger?).

Thanks guys . I'm starting to agree with you more and more as the summer rolls along.

It just pisses me off, especially because I was TOTALLY truthful with her, saying stuff I never would have said because I wanted to tell her for her sake, and she flips out... no gratitude.... Hell, that kinda is what happened during the relationship (no gratitude) .

Don't worry Drake... I'll move on! One of my other friends just got a house (instead of an apartment) and I'm going to make use of it often during the drunken parties .

Yo I know you probably already know this, but don't put it on yourself to take responsibility for the way someone else feels. Sometimes if they are being jackasses just let them be a jackass and go about your business.

It's nice that you're trying to help her out, but watch your step. You don't want to end up as the gay friend, believe me. There's nothing worse than being the gay friend once she goes out on the prowl again.
