You thought the Congress was bad? Look at this, fruitcake!
As for the picture, I wonder what opposition party these guys were from? A stunt like this reeks of the Communist Party, but the Clean Government Party is pretty crazy too.

I must know who the woman in pink suit is. She must become the new PM of Japan, a job that will doubtlessly encompass tentacles.

The woman in the pink skirt is acting very unlady like. I think half of the Diet can see up her skirt.
I always wondered how in hell it got called "Diet" in English? The Japanese is Kokkai, which ain't hard to pronounce, and it means, ever so obscurely "National Assembly."

"Diet" is from the latin dieta, and Middle English diete for something like "the day of meeting". I don't know how that became associated with Japan, though.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

English language and foreign parliaments don't mix. Finland's Eduskunta gets called 'Diet' sometimes, for some reason. Other times it's termed 'Riksdag', which is what it is in Swedish - though considering that Swedish is only spoken by 5% of the populace, that's pretty odd.

This cannot be right -- someone is telling MTG something that MTG did not know already?
Who hi-jacked MTG's account?
I know things that are orderly, coherent, and make sense. How a name like "diet" got associated with the Japanese National Assembly doesn't fit in that category. In particular, anything with a latin derivation.
