For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

I'd do it, but because of the state of my state party, my dues haven't been collected (even though I wanted to pay them) and I'm not a member in good standing. Not that it matters since I'm going to be unemployed next week and can't afford to get to Chicago anyway. I doubt Florida will even be represented.

Maybe Florida's could be a take on that: Beer - Beaches - Bolshevism!
Actually this gives me an idea. We in the CPA should refer to each other as "comrade" from now on. The party seems to have hit a bit of a lull since the war "ended" despite the revolutionary zeal shown by Comrade Kidicious. Reactionary forces are regathering on Apolyton, something needs to be done to aid morale.

Actually how many members does the CPA have?

      PS. Love the CSP motto.

To answer the original question: Go right ahead. In some cases I'd worry about being put on the Watch List, but since THEY contacted YOU, you're probably on the Crash and Burn List already anyways.

I don't think that the US Government really cares since the Cold War ended.

              More fools them.

He could always move to a country where people aren't persecuted for their political beliefs.

I think Monkspider would do a good job, he's a good man and easy going, good (and underrated) traits for a political activist.

Thanks Che and thanks for the kind words folks. I may have some difficulty rounding up the money to make the flight to Chicago. But I have until October, and I think it would be a great experience. Thanks again everyone.

Communists are no longer a top-priority threat, but they're still on the list. General dissenters are more closely watched, I'd bet...followed up by the Belgians.

Fez, I've seen your pictures. 95% of the human race could flatten you in a fist fight (and yes, that includes the girls).

A badge of honour. I wonder what I can do to get on the "list".

We don't keep track, but in the "elections" we were neck and neck with the evil capitalists party, with over twenty votes each.

Communism can only work in the developed world. Capitalism is needed in 3rd world countries to industrialize them, then there will be a large enough population of the proliateriat for the revolution.

Actually you can go run soviet states in **** hole countries you know... Angola and Zimbabwe are examples.

Actually no, you will not run communism in the developed world as it cannot work.
