      There is a sort of wasp that rips its guts out when it flys off. It leaves the stinger in still pumping venom after the bee is dead.

        Wasps bite and don't die.

        Bees sting once and die.

        That's the big difference: Wasps live to bite another day, and bees are suicide bombers.
