"The Bible" - written by psychotic fundamentalists over a few hundred years... translated and manipulated by Christian caretakers over a thousand years...

In case you are still wondering, the smiley next to Michael Moore's book indicates a comical pick... the other two are serious works. Moore's book is just entertainment for us pinko-leftists.

It's a damn shame the Bible is the most reproduced work of fiction on the planet.

What you fail to understand is that language changes over the years.

"The Bible" (written by many people on too many shrooms)
you might be joking, but I've read quite a few pieces linking drug and alcohol use to the formation of some of the world's most popular religions... including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam...

tolerate != respect... I respect religions and beliefs that are benign.

But I can't, in my right mind, respect a belief that tells me to accept it in it's entirety on faith, threatens eternal damnation if I don't, and prohibits rational thought ('do not eat from the tree of knowledge'). I tolerate religion, but I do not respect it.

You can't keep up with me, but connection speed has nada to do with it.

broadband is the way to go, it allows me to respond to so many people so quickly... my powers as uber-troll are magnified by the speed of my connection.
