Your BMI is 29.4 - on the borderline between Overweight and Obese. Of course you are of heavy build with a BMI of that.

Your health is at risk, I suggest you try Atkins.

That sounds like a great line to put on someone's gravestone, as well!

Unlike Stew, I don't drink to excess. Touche!

Stew, it's you with the massive insecurity crisis about your weight, not me. If you are trying to use me to massage your own ego, look elsewhere, because it ain't going to work buddy

Because it is healthier than pumping yourself full of carbs and insulin, and I wouldn't mind losing a bit more.

But why do you want to lose more if you are already fine? That is insecurity...besides the pancreas secretes insulin...

                              Insecurity? No.

                              Nothing wrong with self-improvement.

You might like to try it some time.

Your body is quite capable of metabolising carbohydrate, in fact, carbohydrate is the preferable metabolite for all organs...surely tricking your body into thinking it is starving and making vital organs function of ketone bodies is far from healthy? By my reckoning, your body would cut it's metabolic rate considerably when this happens.
