Anyway it is always good to stay ahead of this stuff, most of us have it or have had it from time to time. I am sure this has been posted before? So look at this as an update if it has, or a heads up. I say that because new spyware and malware is on the increase.

This site drops some basics like the netstat command for dos. This allows you to see active connections and with very simple instructions what to look for.
I am not against advertising they have a right to do that. I am against theft of my machine resources and in worse case senarios the crashing of my machine.
I would like to see a lawsuit at some point in my lifetime, where someone successfully gets reimbursed cash for the time and effort of reloading thier OS and loss of information due to an unwanted program crashing it... Read spyware, malware here....
Imagine the fuss if this was done on your cable tv....Suddenly your picture is fuzzy then poof your offline... Then you pay the "cable guy" to come fix it...
I am also against "personal information theft" and the "sale of that information" without my consent and or profit....
