  • Best Western (movie) of all time and why

I say High Noon with Gary Cooper. One of the first films that wasn't all straight out good versus evil, but still really captures a story of good versus evil at its core. And it is all about rising up to a challenge. When you seem all alone. Plus a cool song. And it has lots of little nuances. For instance the racial aspect. The previous affairs. The movie time = real time.

I'm not a great connaisseur, but The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance was pretty good.

How could you not have seen it? Thought it was a classic. Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne.

High Plains Drifter was a ghost story, not a western.
