I always wanted to paraglide. I made plans 2 years ago to learn it, but still haven't gotten around to do it

I'd love to/plan to pick up some knowledge of emergency/first aid, take Akido in university and hopefully reawaken my old training in Kung Fu and Tai Kwon Do, learn to sing, learn another language (either something really useful like French or something really obscure like Sumerian), learn how to make pottery, take some photography courses, and maybe design some clothes. The last one is so stereotypically gay but it's something I imagine I could have quite a lot of fun with.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.
            -Richard Dawkins

One of my cousins tried skydiving when he was on holiday in Australia and loved it. Then again... he also took up kick boxing.

Don't really think it's for me somehow.

everything basically . But some skills are related to ability. I'd like to be a QB in the NFL for example. But I lack the ability to do that.

                      sailing would be cool.

self-fellatio might be an interesting skill to learn as well. But that would related to ability and flexibility as well.

I would love to be a top notch hacker and cracker. That could have its uses

I'd love to learn lots of languages. This would surely help me pick up women. French, italian, german, dutch, thai, chinese, korean, japanese, filipino, russian, indian, arabic just for starters.

I have no desire to learn how to cook. I'd like the skill of picking up a woman who will cook for me

I'd like to have spy skills as well. I'd like to be able to disguise myself and blend into middle eastern countries. I would like to fulfill my desire to kill Osama Bin Ladin. I'd search the entire region looking for him.

Auto skills. Definitely. Insanely practical, useful, and pretty much necessary. I'd love to have an intimate knowledge of the workings of most modern automobiles. The only problem being that I have no passion for the area. Hm.

And, of course, the language thing. Looks like I'll be unable to continue French "officially", but hopefully university Spanish will yield some positive results.

So, for you paragliders, why should I chose paragliding over handgliding?

                                Which one is better?
