    • well i'm just thinking. i'll prolly leave my house at about half eight, so with any luck i'll be at my nans by eleven, i'll spend some time there, and then come to the meet by tube, so i can't see myself being there any earlier than half two, three.

            • Well I might go fairly early by train to get to London before midday.

But I'll be 19 by then! Woohoo!

Hopefully. Don't think I can get the day off though (new job, short contract, and taking a day of the next week for exam results) so I might have to see you all about 7ish. I'll have to send someone my mob number to see where you are by then. I have no idea about London geography.

People going to Oxford on the 9th too Just got back from there, trying to persuade my gf to apply to Trinity too (which didn't take much)

                  • I need the money though, girlfriends are very expensive things And I like the job. It says something that my best paid job is working for the council, but it's great experience too. I'll try and get the afternoon off, but it'll mean 8am starts the rest of the week

Any excuse for a party though

                    • Well I can't get drunk cos I'm getting a train back.

Probably just as well, I am a poverty-stricken student type after all.

                        • I can be a very dumb person when I want to be. And Glasgow's not great this time of year.

                          • When you going back RJ? I'm thinking if it's worth trying to catch the last train (12:18 IIRC) or going on the first one the next morning.

I think it might be best to go home that night. I've no idea whereabouts to hang round in London at night after the pubs and clubs close.

I find it's better than attending a meeting without warning the other attendees of possible consequences.

Which in your case, according to what I've seen of you so far, wouldn't be a good idea.

Not that I didn't have any better motives than that to post mine.
