30in of rain, highly seasonal, sounds like the Texas Savanna area, but I thought that was EAST Texas?

(Texas Savanna is a type of grassland with groves of Mestique, Juniper, Acacia, and other North American trees adapted to long dry spells.)
San Antonio is located right around the boundry of the Gulf of Mexico coastal plain, west texas arid region, and the east texas wooded region... makes for some interesting weather patterns and texas savana is mostly in central texas, where SA is at

this could transform into the san antonio polymeet thread, and the title would still be correct
