As for his ecological Fitness on the other hand, I don´t know.
As monolith alrerady mentioned, this extra Arm could be useful (if he is capable to use it to full extent) not just as a waiter.
Although on the other Hand I could find no use for those extra Legs, as they seem to point into the wrong direction (backwards) but who knows maybe they could be of use, too.

No. It seems to be a result similar to siamese twins.

            Sounds plausible.
If it´s really incomplete siamese twins thet question if the Extra Leg and Arm are incorporatedf (and can be controlled) by his nervous System will be very interesting (and also the question how the centres of his Brain develope (after all you could assume that a larger space would be devoted to movement control and body senses of the limbs)

Yes, apparently an incomplete twin... but I feel sorry for the kid. Yes, they have to operate him and leave with two legs, but the third arm is really a dilemma. I would probably let the kid decide for himself when he grows... IF it's usable. All in all, it can really be useful. However, he would then have to endure terrible problems with other people.

I kinda agree...... They really shouldnt amputate the arm if its functional, I might look a little freakish but *I* would definatly want an extra arm! Very usefull!

Easy to say when you haven't got one...if you had one you'd feel like a freak and try getting laid with it

I don't think the extra arm is functional since it's very unlikely that it has the skeletal connections. Where would you put the arm on a person's body?

There was a guy on Tarrant on TV with two d*cks. He was Peruvian. Apparently both was fully functional. No doubt there have been other undocumented cases.
