First I would make a scandisk - just in case.

Then try to install the product you want.

If that fails, then I would try to reinstall og the XP-installation - I prefer a reinstall rather than a repair - but if that is not possible in any way, take the repair.

    Then try again.

If that is not working either, then......... well, I am fixing problems like that (for money).... but I live in Denmark.

I have tried to install it on two different HD's, both have had a scandisk short time ago (That means less than 2 weeks)...

Sure, an complete reinstall would probably fix that problem, but would also require me to reinstall tons of other apps, which I'd rather avoid at the time being

From time to time, I also fix such problems (or at least tries to)... but that's the hard way (Which means: No reformat if possible)... and I do it for free... but only for friends, or friends of family...

      Forresten, jeg er også Dansker

Dang-it - I know you are a dane too - and I would have remembered that, had I just used my small grey cells a little more......

        Men:

                    Hi. No

Are you using Windows 2000/XP and cant get older stuff to work load. Go to Start-->Run--> Cut n Paste this line

                    regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll

to activate windows compatability layers. Then right click on the orignal icon (not the Shortcut) and go to properties on the far right is what you want.

                    Have fun.

                      I wouldn't call 2003 programs/games "old"

no but it works better at times to run in 98 comp. mode. Trust me.

                          Btw:

Does this make installations run better also?
