Quite strange that all of those nations, peoples and societies, when put together militarily, would represent a drop in the ocean compared to America's military. Having said that, the best way to counter terrorism is a good, passive and multilateralist foreign policy, and good intelligence, and as of the past decade, US intelligence has seemed like a contradiction in terms.
Methinks a little over reaction on the part of the USA, unless of course theyre being run by the PNAC, which I see more and more evidence of day by day .
"Reeboks problem"
no offense but passive multilateralist foreign policy doesn't give me a diplomatic hardon. makes me think of ineptitude and commitees and debating and inaction. but that gives us more time to pass blame around and properly ascertain who's fault the last thing we didn't do was.

(italics mine) Except for Pakistan. And Indonesia. And Turkey. Malaysia is pretty well trained up too. Plus those M1A2's we sold the Egyptians....
anywho, you're reading too much into it. It's a Joke!
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Sorry Skywalker, but Lonestar is asking for it:
In a war between a coalition of those five nations, and the USA, my money is on the Americans.

Yeah? Thousands and thousands of MBTs, Hundreds of Fighters, 50-100 nukes with a 700 mil+ reach delivery system (not withstanding putting it on a frigate and driving to a harbor somewhere), the biggest army in Europe, 2 more of the top 10 biggest miltaries in the world, + malaysia doesn't represent "a drop in the ocean compared to America's Military, eh?".
Here's a quick and filthy lesson for you, since you appear to have been told Money=invincibility; The single biggest expenditure of the US military is pay and benefits(40%!). The American militay is the best paid and has more benefits than just about anyone in the world.
After that is maintenance.
Then training.
Then Base construction.
Then procurement.
We would not have the capacity to handle two of those countries...or maybe even one without aide from our allies and massive casulties.
Try to join the rest of us in this reality, please.
