Don't underestimate the appeal of playing with Carmelo Anthony and some of the other young guns they have (Nene Hilario for example).

That being said I think Kidd will resign with the Nets, who will also pick up either Brown or Mourning for the exception.
The Spurs will go for O'Neal, Miller or possibly Brand to replace Robinson. I think Parker convinced them enough to keep his job.
Denver will get Arenas and possibly Olowakandi, and if the Clippers really screw up, they could have a go at Brand or Odom.
sterling can screw anyone cuz he can wait 15 days on all his restricted agents. so u have to wait 15 days and in brand's case u probably have to overpay. cuz brand is the one sterling likes.

Arenas might goto denver but if they're smarter they'd take miller. who will come a lot cheaper. and miller is the only restricted free agent who sterling is unlikely to )*(#@ w/ u on.

its unlikely the spurs can get brand, also the spurs are bargain shoppers. brand isnt a bargain, bradmiller might be though after the pacers have to dump crap to keep jermaine oneal.

and what POSSIBLE good does brown or mourning do for the nets? I mean really. u could argue the nets need defensive presence inside, but they what they REALLY need is shooting. thats why their fast break breaks down against the spurs while the mavs didn't. the mavs were able to effectively use secondary fast break jump shooting to nail the spurs even if 2-3 players got back. while the nets either goto the hoop or are screwed.

No NO no NO... Denver has been doing good things recently. Kiki Vandewe's plan has been to simply unload almost everyone they had on that team, a good plan considering they SUCK. Right now they are at the lowpoint of their rebuilding, but they have a lot of potential to be good in a few years, especially with the good management they have now. They have freed a lot of cap room, got an excellent draft pick in Carmello Anthony, and are now in a good position to have a decent team down the road.

As for Juwan Howard, yeah that was stupid, but they needed to play somebody.

I got picked. I'll be the starting Power Forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers next year. I think they've made a terrible mistake.

here's a likely not so good scenario that could happen for denver. I not saying it will cuz I dont see future.

nene hilario never becomes an offensive player. he is simply a 6'11" super athlete who has his prime then declines. carmelo anthony becomes an injury ridden almost all star(shoulder?). they overpay for someone. lets say they overpay for maggette and arenas. leaving them w/ maggette/hilario/anthony/arenas. good right? no inside scoring. maggette's is improving his shooting but he is not a shooter. arenas isnt a shooter anthony can't hit 3's. so they have lotsa athletes, no inside scoring and marginal shooting.

at some pt their salary cap bubble bursts and they are back down to be in prime rebuildin territory! yahoo! its easy to be in prime rebuilding territory, draft a player w/ a lot of potential have a lot of cap room.

being a native of San Antonio, i seriously doubt O'Neal will come to the spurs. Many of the fanatical spurs fans literally lust for his blood. He is purely hated in SA... kinda sad really, but people just have this irrational depravity toward him. Miller is a possibility, as is Jason Kidd, the former adversary

What did Jermaine O'Neal do to the Spurs? I missed that one over here

There's absolutely no guarantee that a low draft pick results in a bad position for the player. Heck, this year's Calder trophy runner up, Henrik Zetterberg of the Red Wings, was 210th in the 99 draft...

Er, I've just switch sports here. Sorry.

It's easy to find a not so good scenario when you count on injuries. All I'm saying is that they have a lot of potential based on some of the moves the team has made. They are in a good position.

well I only counted onone. and its pre existing. and even if it was left out they'd still lack inside scoring and great shooting.

sure tho denver has lotsa "upside" AHHHHHHHHH I hate that word.
