    flying isn't a special power for a bird... the shape, weight, etc allow it to fly in the first place.
    To us, it is the BEAST.

        That is as I thought. Surely no creatures then, in fact, have special 'powers'.
        Concrete, Abstract, or Squoingy?

          pfft, why should I waste a special power on that when I already have one?

            uhhhh... no. You are confusing special powers with natural abilities.
            birds flying = natural
            spiderman's spider sense = special power

              spiderman != creature.

              Dissident said he could morph into any real creature past of present and gain its strength. Since strength is a natural ability, he is correct. Yet LoneStar thinks otherwise?

                Then you're arguing apples and oranges. Creature can be used to describe any living thing, BTW.

                    The shapeshifting template is Mystique. Mystique can't become more massive than she is, therefore, her strength would reamin the same.

                        mass and strength are directly related now? Can't she just convert some t!t into muscle and get stronger? Who needs legs? Become a giant super-strength arm!

                          my point is this: Can a shapeshifter assume the form of any real animal, and become that animal in terms not only of looks, but also of physical characteristics?
                          You say yes, I think yes, Lonestar says no.
