Btw, I heard a while ago that a bunch of Canadian PhD students were about to patent a glowing christmas tree. If I remember it right, they were using the green fluorescent protein (GFP) to study the development of the needles and after seeing the glowing tree they got the idea to make money by exporting it to the americans

My fish live in rather nice quarters, in nice schooling groups, and far longer and healthier than their average natural lifespan.
