First of all, let me interject that I've found "kazaa" type spybots on my computer recently. I didn't ask for them, someone put them there, probably piggybacked on some of those nasty pop-ups that I'm getting all the time. Anyway, so much for the ethical superiority of the "hacker" community. How ethical is it to involve an innocent bystander in your dirty little black market ring?
Secondly, I'd like to point out that the media genres most likely to be undermined by file sharing will be rock, alternate rock, hiphop, rap, punk, and heavy metal music. It's going to be richly ironic when you guys have nothing left to listen to but country, classical, and new wave music. Hmmmm.....Think of it as a form of evolution. Pop culture, with it's utter waste land of non-existant ethics, is about to put itself out of business. Is that sweet or what?
