Its simple, you put < whatever you want > in the middle of the word. But without the space between the < > and the word.

Damn, beaten to it.

I'm amazed at how infrequently people think of simply doing something like that to beat the filter- instead of doing silly things like using numbers or exclamation points or asterisks in words.
