you might like Street Serenade... it's a love song

Street Serenade isn't even explicit... i think you'd appreciate a nice, sweet love song... it's like poetry

Nice chilled style. Reminds me of Michael Franti in attitude, doesn't sound the same, it's just the flow and feel of it.
The acapella bit at the end of Then & Now is really good.
Got down as far as God Within so far.

nah the beats are from actual, released songs. i just recorded over them up here on this computer. the only thing was on Then & Now, i did a glaring mistake where i messed up at the end and then re-recorded it (when i said Starting...) and i didnt realize it sounded that out of place until after i mixed it. thanks though for liking what you heard.
same goes to elijah, thanks for taking a look and liking it

I wouldn't have listened to them all if I wasn't enjoying them.
I'm not very good at constructive criticism on hip-hop, my favourites were probably Street Serenade and Depend on Me. A lot of emotion in there but you avoided being soppy or embarassing. Was good, you got the feeling across.
Technically and lyrically they were all good. They were all interesting and all worked well with the backing. I think your voice works better with the slower more melodic raps than the quicker ones but that doesn't mean I think the fast ones were bad and it's good to have the variety anyway.

Can't give them a listen here (at work....no sound ) , Albert, but I'll check 'em out when I get home!
