Damn you bastards. You piqued my curiousity, so I picked up my brother's copy of "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" yesterday. Ended up reading nearly the whole thing last night. So it begins...

The great thing about it is that Jersey loses on every level, except they do have the most landfills, industrial parks and cess pools. Yay Jersey!

And we have better shorelines, farm production (especially in fruit), horse stables, income (highest medium income in the country), and higher standards of living (Monmouth/Ocean County ranked #3 best place to live in the US by Money Magazine in 1999). So to fools living in the city.

Don't get too excited. It certainly wasn't the best thing I've ever read, but it was an easy read with an enjoyable storyline. I could think of worse ways to kill an evening.

Oh, as for sending the book: I have no problem. Think of the book itself, and what a quality of life imporvement it would have going from Jersey to NYC.

If it wanted a quality of life improvement, the book would learn to stay put in one of the jewels of America, right here in the heart of Jersey, rather than go over the bridge in that cesspool of a city called New York .

The Burrow sounds more at home in Jersey... as does Hogwarts. Nice ruralish settings like in Western NJ.

And of course a lot of wizards and witches would love to be relax near the Jersey Shore, flying past the long lines of NY tourists in their 'cars'.

HA, Hamptons... they'd take Cape May and Long Beach Island over the Hamptons any day.

Hogwarts would definetly prefer the nicer area in Western NJ. You never know, Steve Forbes is eccentric enough that he might be a powerful wizard.
